Working with one of the world’s largest surfing brands, Quiksilver, to design, produce and install a sustainable art installation. The concept of the piece was to align with, and highlight, Quiksilver’s commitment to reducing plastic pollution in the world’s oceans through their recycled fibre sportswear and products.
In an active and ongoing effort to raise awareness about plastic pollution in the world’s oceans, the concept of a life-size, barrelling wave made from recycled plastic bottles was developed. The activation also had to be transportable, as it would be showcased in France for the European surf championships after the event.
